Overview

A simple stool, in the best possible way.

The solid teak brings a warm honey-brown tone to kitchens, breakfast bars, bedside corners, and anywhere that needs a useful little seat.

The square seat has a shallow curve, so this stool feels calm, useful, and nicely imperfect in a wabi-sabi style, with the darker grain running across it like a small map.

Key Features

  • Solid teak counter stool with a square, gently curved seat.
  • 60cm seat height, suited to many kitchen counters, breakfast bars, and lower home bars.
  • Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery connects the frame.
  • The teak grain runs in long golden-brown lines, with darker mineral streaks across the seat.
  • Natural knots and treated wormhole marks have been preserved. Colour shifts and small cracks may appear over time. That is part of the piece's wabi-sabi philosophy.
  • Lower crossbars strengthen the frame and give your feet somewhere easy to rest.
  • A wooden kitchen stool for morning coffee, quick lunches, and small kitchen conversations.
  • Works as a kitchen island stool, bedside perch, or small occasional seat.

Materials

Solid teak gives the stool its warm golden-brown tone, visible grain, and darker mineral lines, finished with wood wax oil. Each stool will show its own knots, filled marks, and small natural irregularities.

Care
  • Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, and prolonged strong sunlight.
  • Use coasters or mats under hot, wet, or heavily coloured items.
  • Avoid bleach, harsh cleaning sprays, and abrasive pads.
  • Refresh with a suitable wood wax oil when the surface starts to look dry or worn.
