Materials

Solid black walnut forms the frame and seat platform. Hand polishing smooths the wood, and a hardwax oil topcoat protects the surface while bringing out its grain. The pale canvas cushion secures with ties. Each piece carries its own grain patterns and shifts in colour.

• Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Keep away from direct heat sources and prolonged strong sunlight.
• Use a wood-safe hardwax oil or maintenance wax occasionally if the surface starts to look dry.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemical sprays.
• Vacuum the cushion gently and blot spills promptly.
